Sound of Ice organizes an industrial workshop to address the latest developments in de-icing and anti-icing solutions

The international consortium that includes the FET-OPEN project Sound of Ice is organizing its first industrial workshop in which companies and academic institutions will be able to discuss the latest developments in the field of de-icing and anti-icing solutions aimed at end users in the fields of renewables, aeronautics, security, among others.
The objective of this event is to provide an excellent opportunity to share your latest advancements and discuss your needs and expectations regarding de-icing solutions, icing monitoring, anti-icing surface treatments, and ice-phobicity. With this objective, three of the main speakers are Dr. Elmar Bonaccurso (Airbus), Prof. Ali Dolatabadi (University of Toronto) and the coordinator of the Sound of Ice project Dr. Ana Isabel Borras (CSIC).
The event, which will be held on November 28 at the Spanish National Research Council headquarters (Madrid, Spain), is open to key innovators in wind energy, photovoltaics, transportation (terrestrial and aviation), communications and displays, industrial cooling, and home appliances.
Participants can attend online or in person; it is a chance to network with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and collaborate on innovative solutions.
